Volunteer Opportunities for 724 Kids

Our goal is to provide a place where children feel safe, and have a sense of belonging. We want to partner with parents, other caring adults, and teens to encourage our children to seek a growing, loving relationship with Jesus Christ. We want each child to know that the most exciting, satisfying, and fun-filled life is a life committed to serving Jesus Christ. Will you help make a difference in the life of a child?

There are many ways to help:

• Arcade Monitor – Encourage and monitor children in the Arcade/Game Room before service and during service grade rotations.
• Children’s Transportation Agent (CTA) - Greet children and parents as they arrive at church.
• Master Teacher – Help teach age-appropriate Bible lessons and direct classroom activities.
• Praise & Drama Team – Help with 724 Kids Praise Team and/or Drama Team for elementary-age children.
• Props Coordinator – Help organize and prepare props for the weekly Bible lessons in kindergarten through sixth grade classrooms.
• Registration – Help with registration, check-in and check-out of 724 Kids children and families.
• Room Monitor – Encourage and monitor children in kindergarten through sixth grade classrooms.
• Sound Technicians – Help the media team with sound and audiovisual presentations for elementary-aged children.

Volunteer Opportunities for Nursery

Room Teacher (ages 0-4 years old) – Teachers are responsible for teaching the Word of God to the children on an appropriate level for their age while making it interesting and exciting. They are also responsible for the safety and accountability of the children. Teachers must be 18 yrs of age or older. Youth workers in the classrooms must be 16 yrs old.

Registration Desk – These volunteers assist parents in checking their children into our Parent Pager system and registering first time visitors. Desk personnel must be 18 yrs of age or older.

Resource Room – Volunteers in the Resource Room prepare and serve snacks to the children in the Nursery. They also provide assistance in monitoring the gates to the Play Park to ensure that no children leave the Play Park area. Resource room workers must be 12 yrs of age or older.

Child Transportation Agent (CTA) – CTAs staff the check in stations in the upstairs lobby. As parents check their children in, The CTAs are there to escort the children to their rooms so the parents can go straight to service. CTAs must be 18 yrs of age or older and will always be escorting children with another CTA.

Additional Information

Play Park
Each service our children ages 2 to 4 have play time in our indoor play park. Each class goes out for 20 minutes. While in play park your child can bounce in our bounce house, climb through the tunnels or hang out on our child size couches. Each area is monitored by the room volunteers while children are playing in the play park.

Snacks
At each service we provide a snack for all of our children ages 1-4 years old. All of our snacks are peanut free and are served with water.
