(Senior Adults) Ministry

The Young at Heart Ministry reaches out to our senior adults through spiritual and social activities. Our senior adults still lead active lifestyles, desire supportive friendships and seek to server others through COTR volunteer ministries.

Church on the Rock values our senior adults for their proven character and contribution to the communities they live in. They are achieving their lifelong dreams and reaching for new ones as they follow Jesus Christ. If you're 50+ young and would like to be a part of a caring fellowship of friends, then consider being a part of our family.

Our senior adults meet every Monday morning at 11:00 am for Bible Study and a fellowship meal. The Word of God is taught in an informal, friendly atmosphere, where testimonies are shared and prayer is offered for needs. After feeding our spirits with the Word of God, we feed our bodies with delicious meals prepared by our members.

Travel opportunities are offered on a monthly basis providing informational, educational, and cultural experiences for life memories. Our travels range from local day trips to regional and national driving tours. We endeavor to accommodate everyone's interests and needs.

We are blessed at Church on the Rock to have over 130 ministries to reach out to our members and communities with the love and compassion of our Lord Jesus Christ. Many of our seniors are finding fulfillment in God's purpose for their lives through their involvement in these ministries.
