Your First Visit
Your First Visit
What can you expect to see and experience when you visit Church On The Rock?
Atmosphere
At Church On The Rock, you will experience friendly people, cutting-edge worship music, and relevant messages, in a comfortable environment. We want to make you feel as welcome as possible. If you would like to view a past service for an indication of what to expect, you can do so by visiting our media section here.
A Typical Service
Services begin with four worship songs, and then a prayer or Bible reading and greeting. Next is some videos to let you know what is happening around Church On The Rock. Pastor Blunt (or a guest speaker) will give a message designed to help you apply biblical principles to everyday life. This message will be about 30 minutes in length. After the message an offering is then received. (As a visitor you will not be asked or expected to give an offering. You are our guest!) There will be a closing song. You are welcome to talk to or pray with one of our prayer partners after the service.
How to Dress
We invite you to dress casually and comfortably. You'll fit right in. After all, the Bible tells us that God is more concerned with our hearts than He is with how we dress or look (1 Samuel 16:7).
What Church On The Rock Believes
At Church On The Rock, our mission is to "Win people to Christ, Train believers to become disciples, and Send disciples to impact the world." For more on what we believe, view our Statement of Faith.
Logistics
As a first time visitor, you are sure to have questions, such as:
Where do I park? What is available for my children? What if I have a special need?
