Meets on Thursdays from 7pm-9pm in the North Campus
WHY CELEBRATE RECOVERY?
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12-step recovery program that meets at Church on the Rock every Thursday night to help people who struggle with addictions, hurts, habits and hang-ups find freedom and hope. It’s OK to not be OK so you can come as you are, and you’ll be welcomed with the unconditional love of Christ. We provide a safe environment where we can share our experiences, struggles, strengths, and hopes so that we become willing to accept God’s grace to transform us. In the context of Biblical principles, we can find freedom, peace, joy, and a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Celebrate Recovery is for anyone 18 years and older struggling with a hurt, habit, or hang-up. We also recognize the mental health struggle that is often associated with addictions.
Hurts may include abuse, abandonment, codependency, divorce, grief, stress, betrayal, and relationship issues.
Hang-ups may include anger, depression, fear, unhealthy body image, shame, pride, procrastination, materialism, laziness, and lack of self-control.
Habits may include addictions to alcohol, drugs, sex, food, gambling, shopping, social media, smoking, lying, work, popularity, and isolation.
CELEBRATE RECOVERY IS NOT…
Celebrate Recovery is not therapy, counseling, legal advice, rehabilitation, or treatment. It’s not a shelter, a place for gossip, or a place to find a date. It’s not a quick fix, a place for perfection, or a place to judge others.
