THIS MONTH’S ATTRIBUTE OF GOD IS: Jesus is Lord of all.
Jesus is Lord of all—over rules, nature, people and even time itself. Jesus prioritized people over societal expectations, met earthly needs and broke through household tasks to draw people towards Himself. Alongside His humanity, Jesus also revealed His true divine nature on the mountaintop proving that we can trust Him as our Savior.
THIS MONTH’S UNIT TITLE IS: Extraordinary
Like a good science experiment, Jesus is truly extraordinary—nothing and no one in this world compares to Him! He often surprises us in unexpected ways, showing up in moments we least expect with love, power and grace that go beyond anything we’ve ever known. His words, miracles and compassion set Him apart from everyone else. Jesus isn’t just extraordinary in what He does—He invites us into an extraordinary relationship with Him, one filled with purpose, hope, and unmatched love.

The Transfiguration (Mark 9:2–13; Luke 9:28–36)
Jesus took James, John and Peter up on a mountain. While Jesus was praying, the appearance of His face was altered, and His clothing began to shine. Moses and Elijah appeared and spoke with Jesus about what was to come. The disciples were sleeping but awoke when they saw Jesus in His glory. Peter offered to make tents for each of them. The voice of God came down and declared Jesus was His Son.
The disciples got just a peek of Jesus’ glory—His magnificence. Jesus died on the cross, rose again and is now in heaven where Hebrews 9:2 tells us He is crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. One day, everyone who has trusted in Jesus as Savior will see the glory of God face-to-face and live with Him for eternity.
