Fasting for Breakthrough

Listen to this powerful teaching by Pastor David Blunt on fasting.

Biblical fasting is giving up a specific food, drink, or behavior for a specified number of days for a specific purpose. Simply put, fasting is a way to conquer the physical and open the door to the supernatural in your life.
In Matthew 6, Jesus gives us a specific direction on how to live a successful, powerful life. Jesus said, "When you give" ... "when you pray" ... "when you fast" ... He made it clear that fasting, like giving and praying is a normal part of Christian life and we should develop the skill of fasting.
There are many types of fasts: full, partial, corporate and private. The type of fast should be between you and God, and not determined by what anyone else is doing. When you fast, pray for God's purpose and plan for your life to be revealed.
